Wasim Choudhury
​
Wasim has more than 25 years experience advising the Boards of companies and governments around the world on strategy, business planning and implementation across multiple sectors. He has extensive real estate experience and has advised numerous clients in the Middle East on portfolio strategies, large-scale master planning exercises, new asset acquisitions in residential and commercial real estate and raising shariah compliant financing.
Prior to co-founding SPS, Wasim worked at McKinsey & Co and was the Head of Strategy for King Abdullah Economic City (Emaar) where he was part of the executive team responsible for managing of one of the largest urban development projects in the world. Wasim has developed extensive relationships with real estate players and financiers in the UK and Middle East.
Wasim holds a BA Honours and Masters in Politics, Philosophy & Economics from University of Oxford in the UK.
Taufiq Jamil​

Taufiq is a seasoned senior executive, strategist and leader, who has led a career focussed on strategy, investments, corporate finance, M&A and business development across multiple geographies and sectors. He has significant experience operating at Board level and has successfully executed numerous investments, financings and divestments across multiple asset classes (real estate, private equity, alternatives and direct investments). Taufiq has an extensive network globally in the real estate, financial services, shariah financing and PE space.
Prior to SPS, Taufiq headed up the family office of a major Middle East group for over a decade and oversaw a team responsible for a multi-billion dollar portfolio covering: direct investments, private equity, real estate, alternatives and public equities. Previous to this, Taufiq was a strategy consultant in London with LEK Consulting and a senior executive doing buy-side M&A.
Taufiq holds a BA Honours and Masters in Economics from the University of Cambridge in the UK.
Omar Juma
Omar heads up SPS’s research, real estate development, management and operations team and has more than 30+ years operational experience in the retail and real estate industry where he held a number of senior executive roles at both a regional and international level.
Prior to SPS, Omar was Commercial Director at SDP Group, Europe, where he was responsible for a number of key operational excellence initiatives. Previous to this he was the Chief Corporate Development and Chief Governance Officer for a major GCC conglomerate, where he worked closely with the Chairman, CEO and Board and held several senior management positions in the luxury retail sector with Guerlain, LVMH and Paris Gallery.
Omar has a BA in Business & Finance from Preston University (UK) and a MSc in Information Systems from the University of Central Lancashire in the UK.
